How it works
Commender makes it easy to recognize great players in your favorite Steam games. Here's how to get started:
- Log in with Steam Sign in securely with your Steam account to start using Commender - no registration or setup required.
- Search for a Player Look up a friend or teammate by their Steam username, custom ID or 17 digit Steam ID to view their profile on Commender.
- Commend Their Gameplay Select any game they play, then choose from a variety of reasons to leave a commendation on their profile. It's a quick, meaningful way to show respect and recognize great players.
Need help searching?
To find a Steam user, enter their unique Steam custom ID or their 17 digit Steam ID into the search field.
If your Steam profile and friends list is public, you can login to Commender and easily find their Commender profile or obtain their Steam ID from the Friends page of the dashboard.
Alternatively, Steam IDs and custom IDs can be found by visiting the user's profile page on Steam and copying the last part of the URL. For example, if the URL is https://steamcommunity.com/id/username, the custom ID will be username. If the URL is https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/12345678901234567, the Steam ID will be 12345678901234567.
